Topic: Hyrule Warriors (& Legends) - OT

I'm surprised at how much I like this game tbh. The game is kinda so mindless that it becomes more of a relaxation tool more than a game, and it's quite excellent at that.

@Pahvi The Imprisoned definitely seems like the most annoying part of that reward mission.

Hero mode is hair-pulling. Small attacks you wouldn't notice (because the character doesn't flinch) end up draining almost half your life, and I think some bosses can kill you in one hit. It's good for grinding though.

Tap the Link™ amiibo figure to receive a new weapon to use in battle: the Spinner from The Legend of Zelda™: Twilight Princess game.

Tap the Zelda™ amiibo figure once per day to get a weapon rated 3 stars or higher.

Tap any other amiibo figure once per day to get a weapon rated 3 starts or lower, Rupee bonus or crafting material bonus.

So technically all you need is 3 Amiibo's. Doesn't seem like a different one will give you anything different. Seems random to me.

The Amiibo page confirms the Twilight Princess DLC is coming late November (which I guess is obvious given that it could only arrive on 20th or 27th), looking forward to what new character we get (+ the other contents). I only just reached the credits of the first adventure mode map today so there's still a huge amount left to do even ignoring the forthcoming DLC..

I don't see a reason to own Zelda amiibo just for Hyrule Warriors after I obtain a weapon with Stars+

I wonder if using any amiibo will give out a gold material even if it's low chance and if can you tap multiple times a day as long they're all different amiibos.

Anybody curious of what the new pack will include?

Okay your post got me so hyped,cause Aonuma's post said "there will be a new playable character - someone from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess... Who do you think it is? Here's a hint: this character only appeared in this form at the very end of Twilight Princess.And that's Midna human form!! Evil idea, the special armor comes back but this time it replaces health with taking away rupees from your rupee total.

Been playing Hyrule Warriors for about a week now and I'm not getting sick of tired of playing it. Learning the hard way that it's very important to increase defense badges on every character, especially when getting A rank rewards in Adventure Mode

It would have been awesome.The postman is the worst choice for a TP alternate costume.

More details revealed including an Ilia costume and Dominion Rod weapon for Zelda, Postman Link of course, more Midna pics and the Adventure map which has a very different shape to the previous 2.

Of course this confirms that the Spinner is exclusive to Link amiibo.

Link as a postman is weird,Ilia is awesome and so are Midna and the Dominion Rod.

If Zelda gets a new costume from Majora's Mask pack, the only character I can picture her as is Cremia from Romani Ranch. Still remember the milk delivery sidequest fondly
