@Ryno@Jazzer94 - I have a foolproof plan. I'm downloading and buying the fit meter and then picking up the disc when it's cheap and I expect to need the free space more.
I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.
I can't get the game because there is not enough space. I literally have less than 100 MB's of stuff on my Wii U yet I can't fit this 3 GB download. angry face Why does the OS take up so much space so that with the 8 GB model, you can't even fit 3 GB's worth of stuff on it?? Why did they even make this 8 GB model? I got it because it was all they had in stock in my area for a long time.
Does anyone know if they will be making a standalone disc of this game? I already have the Wii board from Wii Fit. I see there's a bundle of the game with the board for $60 and I have no interest in paying that since I have the board. So, I was looking into getting a hard drive for the Wii U but I can't find a hard drive for less than $80. All those hard drives have either 500 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB. I do not need that much space for the Wii U. I could easily get by on 50 GB but they don't make hard drives that small anymore. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Is there a cheaper hard drive out there that I'm just not finding? I really think it's stupid to pay another $100 on the Wii U, especially when I will not use all that space. I just had a baby and I was really wanting Wii Fit U to get me back into shape. I'm so bummed out I can't download it today.

I have an SD card in there and it isn't an option to transfer any of my stuff onto it. When I go to the system memory it only allows me to delete stuff instead of move it to the card...And the eShop doesn't allow me to download games onto it. I so wish I could.
Not sure if this helps or not what with the new baby and all - congrats - but the $50 game disc and Fit Meter comes out Dec 13 in the US. Sorry I don't know the dates/prices for any other countries. So thats only $30 for the game if you were going to buy the Meter for $20 anyway.
Someday we'll find it
