I've been wondering what will happen with the Wii U bundles themselves, will they replace this with another promotion? Will they simply remove it from the Mario Kart 8 bundle and that will still be the only way to buy the console? In Australia at least, the white console seems to be on its way out and you can only buy the MK8 bundle. I am hoping Ninty announce some new bundles for us soon as overseas has a variety of options.

I've wondered the same thing about the bundles. Those deluxe bundles that sell long after this promotion will be problematic for the people who were unaware that nintendo stopped it. Will they say oh well, or return it or demand something else from nintendo? Frankly I hope another promotion shows up to take it's place if only until the end of this year to basically allow to sell the remaining stock with that original offer.

Possibly nothing as the information card does specifically state a deadline of 31st December 2014 for gaining points.
Do you guys remember some time last year when Nintendo had that shareholder meeting after they cut sales predictions for Wii U? Iwata did say they were going to offer competitive pricing. I've forgotten the details by now, but iirc it sounded quite like a loyalty program. It gives me a faint hope for another program in the future. I miss the DDP so much
Unless he meant the discount you can get for owning the Wii version of a Virtual Console game when buying it in the Wii U.
