I just love Wario Land, Wario is one of my favourite Characters and I actually like Wario games more than Mario (Don't be judgemental it's just my choice) so i really wan't a Wario game to happen for the Wii U as it is my console of choice this generation. So wanted to know how many people shares this feeling Also I wanted to know how many people Like Wario more than Mario? Idk I like wario more

FWIW, "Game and Wario" is already available on the Wii U, but it's not a very good game IMO.

I would go for it on Wii U or 3DS (Or a new Warioware on either).

I like that they used to try more new ideas with Wario but there is stuff like Masters of Disguise / Warioland 2 / Warioland 3 I don't really like.

I really like Warioland / Warioland 4 / Warioland : The Shake Dimension / Wario World / All the Warioware's (Other than the tiny bits on dsiware).

Wario Land is great, but I doubt they'll do one very soon. Good-Feel (who did Shake It/Dimension) are already working on Yoshi's Wooly World and Nintendo hasn't done one themselves in 13 years. I expect a new Game&Wario or WarioWare will arrive before we hear of another Wario platformer.

@SuperWiiU you are probably right here. But a Wario Land would just be awesome. I don't know how well it sold or how well does Wario games do excluding Wario Wares ofcourse?

According to vgchartz(not the most reliable figures, but it gives an indication) Shake still sold a more than million, but WarioWare on the Wii sold more than twice that. So did the Gameboy Wario Land games and the Kirby & Yoshi games also sell more, so I guess they don't have much reason in terms of sales to do another Wario Land soon.

Kuhang

@SuperWiiU thanks for the info.Which means there's every chance we're seeing Wrio in the distant future

No thanks - I've tried a few of the WarioLand games and disliked them all. WarioWare however? Yes please, lets get a real one of those sometime soon.

Imagine the art style of Wario Land: Shake It! with the power of the Wii U behind it...that would be so awesome!

I love Platformers, which is why it even surprised me that I didn't enjoy the Wario Land games. Yoshi's Island (Yes, the original) is probably my favourite Platformer.

I would like another game like Shake It!/Shake Dimension (Far more than a Yoshi's game where you cannot die anyway).

I would like the transformations back from Wario Land 4 ideally though. (Only if they can be done well though not like the Wisps are in Sonic).

Wario Land: Shake It was an amazing, and totally underrated platformer for the Wii. I'd love to see a sequel with the same hand drawn art style.

I loved Wario The Shake Dimension the hand drawn graphics were great and Wario is always a great character but with Mario and DK already having a game and Yoshi and Kirby coming next year I think Nintendo will feel that is enough 2D platformers hopefully Wario will get his own game after them at some point but after Kirby and Yoshi I think it would be nice to play a 3D platformer.
