The one game that NEEDS to happen is Animal Crossing Wii U (that isn't Amiibo Festival). The only Wii U game that have announced for next year is Zelda, but I hope they are also keeping a secret about AC Wii U! Please comment why you want AC Wii U and what you would put in the game!

No.

Okay, it is the only major release that is confirmed for the Wii U.

SMTxFE, Star Fox Zero, Pokkén Tournament...

I don't think they will see well. Just think that Nintendo are being stupid not doing Animal Crossing Wii U.

I expect the next proper Animal Crossing game to be on the NX. Which would make a lot of sense, if it is a combination (console/handheld) machine as rumours suggest.

It's going to be a must-buy whatever it appears on

But if it was on Wii U, it would prove well a lot of systems. Nintendo should have made a proper AC instead of Amiibo Festival which is probably going to sell hardly any copies.

They haven't actually confirmed it being free. Plus, looking at the price on Amazon, I don't think the game is free. 2 amiibo figures and 3 amiibo cards for £39.00 is too much. The game is included in the price.

How do you know? Animal Crossing for Wii U makes sense. You could use the gamepad for menus and if the island comes back maybe some different mini games. The online multiplayer could be improved by having you go to each other's towns with ease. There is so many ways to use the Wii Us unique features.

I agree, I'm getting anxious for more Animal Crossing. I refuse to restart my NL town or buy a 2nd copy, I already played it every single day for a year and a half I think I've ran that until the wheels fell off. AC:HDD has so many new good ideas that I hope they incorporate into a future AC game for WiiU. I just hope a lot of the awkward elements from City Folk are left out, and not replaced with new awkwards.

Yeah, HHD is what the homes designing should be like in the main games. It is a lot quicker to make your perfect room. I think the buildings in the town in HHD should be put into the main games as well because it makes there be more variety.

I think the Amiibo Cards should be used in a game to make that villager join your town. It could also give you a picture item for your house.

My perfect thing for a new AC would be were you could get jobs. You would start with easier jobs, but if you do them well you could go and do more harder jobs and then become the mayor!

By the way, I don't think buying a second copy would work because if there is save data on your 3ds, the game gets confused and you can't start a new town (but this could be wrong).

It already happened, deal with it.

I think Nintendo made a mistake not putting an actual Animal Crossing game on the Wii U. It would have probably sold a lot of systems.

I'm starting to think so, too. I don't play New Leaf much, anymore, but they could do some cool stuff in a Wii U version and add some 3DS connectivity like Smash Bros. They could make your Villager amiibo can make it so that you get like a million bells or something, and give the game some GamePad/Wii remote multiplayer for the island. Those sort of things could make a Wii U version it worth, besides the HD graphics and sound.
