How do you hook up a Super Nintendo to a computer monitor?
I have a VGA to AV cord too if that is required.
Thanks!

You cannot easily.

To do it you would need something like the full size XRGB.

Sure if you wanna go the really high-quality and expensive route.

Video capture cards are a much cheaper solution. They (at least the cheap ones) might not be able to do better than composite, but then again the SNES was designed for composite anyways.
(capture devices were mostly meant for copying home movies but they can work for playing games)

I don't care about high quality.
I just want to do it the regular way.
Is there anything else besides video capture cards?
Like any kind of cords?

To hook up an true SNES to an VGA monitor you need to do this.

1. For an EU SNES you can simply get an super-gun, sRGB and do that. All other SNES systems are lacking such add-on. Then the sRGB to VGA adapter. This is the EU only.

2. For the NTSC US/JP system you need to get what is called an TV-box. Which is an small device you hook into and should be able to display on an
Monitor. However this is tricky as most models are VGA to Composite Yellow/RGB. I do not own the one you want at all.

3. Again as stated above you can also get an Video recording device ( TV card ( nowadays they go threw USB ) and hook that through an computer and play via an display device. They have many great ones for HD recording as well. Is probably the cheapest and safest route.

4. Like me being cheap you can find and composite to GBA adapter. However most do not work at all since they are lacking the power source for the frequency.
