Anyone playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood? Single player is solid and the multiplayer is quite a bit of fun as well. Definitely recommend it.

I just picked it up last week ($40 new at Gamestop!), and am loving it. It really is just like AC 2.5, but since i loved AC2, more of the same (with some nifty new additions) is fine by me. Haven't gotten into the multiplayer yet; i want to finish (or at least mostly finish) the single player first.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.

The ending bit of gameplay was a bit hit and miss for me. It was cool, but lame at the same time. The final ending sequence was just as awesome as the ending of AC2 though. Worth every cent. Although, I actually only payed $25 + tax when it was still $60, but that has nothing to do with it.

Gah, I still need to pick Brotherhood up. Everyone around me keeps talking about the fun they've had online with it, so I better jump on the bandwagon before everyone moves on.

...just figured you'd want my two cents in case anyone out there is still decided what AWESOME games to get!

Anybody try the Bulletstorm demo? I thought it pretty sweet, personally.

Yeah, it was pretty fun, but I would have liked to try some multiplayer. Single player I could see getting boring pretty fast.

Anyone try out the Crysis 2 demo? I thought it was alright, but did not live up to expectations at all. It was like playing Call of Duty with some abilities... It was a tiny map, but it looks like the game will not have the largge maps and vehicles like the first game was known for. I really hope they do better with the PC version.

@Ravage
I agree with you about both games there. Unless the single player mode in Bulletstorm really mixes it up from level to level, it might be one of those games I start off strong on and just never find the incentive to finish.

For Crysis 2 I found the choice of the demo map a little perplexing. I walked away unable to get a solid feel for the game.

The only thing the demo map does show off well, is the different levels. Being able to jump up to and down from multiple levels fairly easily. But the map is way too small and is a bad indication for the rest of the game. Also, the spawn system was terrible at times. It was certainly not a rare occurrence to spawn right in front of or behind an enemy; sometimes the same enemy that just killed you.

I've done a horrible, horrible thing.

I bought First Strike. I've been against DLC for a long time, but today I cracked. I only did it for Ascension, which is actually a pretty cool map. I know everyone has already moved on from Black Ops, but I can't put down Zombies. The multiplayer maps aren't even that good. Anyone else get it?

I also bought I Made A Game With Zombies In It. It's pretty fun for a game so simple.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I thought Black Ops would be the CoD to win me over. I thought it had changed. But it betrayed me just like all the other did! They just use me and throw me away after! Like I am some hooker!
Well, I am telling you, they are going to pay... they are going to pay...

@Irken: I got my 360 in March as a birthday present to myself Really eventful day too. Parents and sister surprised me by coming to visit, forgot my pin number when I was buying my 360... Went to a zoo... Good fun.
Oh, and my brother-in-law bought a 360 as well; somehow bought the more expensive Arcade instead of the cheaper Pro (it was a steal) and then had to go back to get the other one...

@Ravage I'm just asking for the 4GB "slim" 360, since it's so cheap and I'd just use it mostly for singleplayer games.

zezhyrule

4GB? I've already used over 60GB on my 120GB PS3 and I just got it half a year ago

I'd recommend to get higher, but have no idea what increments the x360 has with HDD space.

Well you probably downloaded lots of stuff too though, like PSN content and DLC right?

zezhyrule

Well, I only have like 4 PSN and 2 PSone games and they're all pretty small. Not DLC much yet. ...I don't really know why half the space is gone already :/

But I wouldn't recommend skipping out on XBLA, I hear they're lots of great games on there.

Agreed, and if I need more space I can use one of my flash drives to store XBLA games.

Doesn't the PS3 require you to install all games (by which I mean retail games) on the hard drive? That eats up space pretty quickly.

@The Fox: Oh yeah that's true, most of the games I have require around a 1000MB install, though some range from KB to GB. And then some games don't require an install, but it seems they run faster when you do.
