I have a hard time running some games on Steam.
I don't think my laptop has the power to run them.

VVVVVV is a low-spec game, and it's going for $2.50 during the holiday sale. I highly recommend it.

To be honest, I found the demo of the game to be boring and hard to control. It just felt awkward and there was no incentive for me to buy it. If you wish to convert me into a believer buyer, then by all means, attempt, but I don't think you will get far.

Apparently, the retail version of War For Cybertron (PC) is only $18 on Amazon.com, compared to $29.99 on Steam. I also highly doubt that it will go on sale on Steam, though it is possible (A few Activision games have been on sale these past few days). Should I buy from Amazon or wait to see if it goes on sale on Steam?

Is the price going to go up in the mean time?

I don't think so, the Amazon price seems to be staying at $18.50, they even have some other PC games (retail and download) on sale as well.

The full version of VVVVVV is easily one of the best platformers I've ever played. Geddit.

It's too bad The Witcher doesn't really run very well on my PC. Good chance for anyone who missed Bad Company 2 though.
FEAR is also $2.50, or FEAR 2 for $5. Or you could get the complete pack for $10. I found FEAR 2 to run surprisingly well on my PC, so if you have a weak graphics card, try the demo out if you're interested.

Does someone wish to be ever so kind and purchase BFBC2 for me.
