Anti-Matter

I really want to know important things before i purchase these PS3 games on year 2020 which i cannot get DLC contents from PS3 PSN anymore. So, i ask about these games :

1. F1 Race Stars
I saw there was a Valencia circuit edition in physical with yellow banner strip on front cover but it said the circuit can be redeemed by entering the Download code. Since i play PS3 by Offline, should i consider the Standard version without any DLC contents since the Valencia circuit edition was basically same as Standard edition (Just only 11 countries without DLC) ?

2. Modnation Racers
I heard the Online playing has been terminated two years ago, that means i cannot add the DLC from PS3 PSN. Again, if i play this game Offline and without any Add On, basically i will not get latest 3 Themes for creating the Tracks (Far East, Arctic, Big City). Is that really true ? What things i will miss if i play Offline without any Add On?

Please help me before i consider to buy these games.

I see you like your kart games!
F1 stars - yes if you've read that it's a code then the disc will be the same. This will be especially true if it came out on release day. If there's a version that came out a year or so after then there's a chance it will have new content even if it's just free updates on disc offline.

Modnation - same thing, if the themes were downloadable then you won't have them on disc. It did still have a one player and split screen multiplayer, and you can still make maps I believe.
Again check wiki's and check for goty or definitive versions (even US versions as ps3 was region free)

Main thing with those two is they weren't that popular so will be cheap as so probably best just save research time and buy and research the fun way!
Hope that helps

@Anti-Matter I can't speak for F1 race stars, though I have it digitally on Wii U. Looks like the physical Wii U Version was only released in Japan with the yellow banner you mentioned.

Modnation racers is a different kettle. I believe it thrived on its community content and none of that is officially available any more. Somebody archived as much as they could of it before Sony deleted it and it can be reinstalled but I believe you need custom firmware on your PS3 to do it. I'm not sure if forum rules allow me to link to the user created content, it is retro and also user content rather than pirated games, maybe @eel can clarify. I suspect you won't be interested in modding your PS3 anyway but it's just a Google away if you were.

I don't think you can get the DLC offline anyway to be honest, whether it's still available or not.

I'd advice against mentioning modding and custom firmwares around Anti-matter

Thanks for the feedback. ūüėÄ
I guess i will choose the Standard version of F1 Race Stars PS3 since it 's very cheap on Ebay (Europe version) & looks like I can consider Modnation Racers for Offline playing.
