I've been playing Uncharted 3. It seems to be even more awesome than Uncharted 2!

I also finally subscribed to Playstation Plus, and it was so worth it.

Was reading a a thread on neogaf where members were discussing the Viability of FPS's as money makers and I noticed that Both Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 came out last year and I have to wonder why? Even though the games came out at different times of the year it seems somewhat foolish to have major Genre overlap like that. I mean there's a reason why Microsoft/EA/Activsion alternate games every year. I mean the modern Shooter market works off a very profitable one Major release from a company and supporting that release until the next year with a new title. I could see if One was mutiplayer focused and the other one was story driven, but they both had mutiplayer as they're big hook.

Resistance really should have been delayed until early this year. I mean I see why pushing the date up to September to avoid overlap with Uncharted and COD, but throwing your self in the ring a week before Gears hit with no marketing seems like a bad idea. I mean pushing the game to February would have secured it more marketing than nearly anything else coming out around that time and would have gotten a splinter of the Killzone 3 people.

Also two unrelated notes. One i'm suprised GOW3 game out in 2010. This has been a very long generation. And Looking at the 2010 and 2011 line up's i have to say Sony Publishes alot of games, didn't even know there was an ape escape released last year.

So finished Mass Effect 3 last night. The game came so close to having a 10, but the ending and the dlc not being on disc gives it w nine.

Any recommendations for skmemore space opera style games. Is xenosaga on psn?

Hey guys, sorry I've been away for a bit, life has been keeping a rope tied around my ankle and dragging me around for a bit - otherwise known a college - but I've absolutely got to drop a line here to tell you guys to buy Journey! I finished my first play-through of the game last night and it's one of the most incredible experiences that I've ever had in gaming. I rarely have a game move me anymore after playing so many different types of game, but Journey is something special, and I'd give it a perfect 10/10 review score if I was to review it; though Sammy did give it a perfect score for Push Square.

Don't go reading all about it, and don't go reading all of the 12+ perfect reviews on posted around the internet - a few have spoilers in them. Just buy it Tuesday when it's available - now if your a PS+ subscriber - and enjoy! I'm not asking you guys, I'm flat-out telling you too! You'll never forget your Journey, it's something you'll remember for the rest of your life and is a landmark title in the gaming industry.

Just remember, it's not about where your going, it's about the Journey to get there!

Yes! I just came here to tell people to buy Journey because I can't.

This is the type of game I've wanted to play for years. Platforming with an amazing sense of exploration. Just pure exploration. I hope I can play this game someday.

I have heard nothing but good things about Journey but must admit that hearing it only takes about two hours to beat is kinda lame.

Its not about the length of the game. Its about (pun intended) the Journey to the end.

Also started a ME3 NG+. Playing as a renegade Shepard. Going to let a few people die and commit genocide.

To anyone on my friend's list: My PS3 died and I won't be getting a new one for a long time. The disc tray broke and I don't have the money to fix it.

If a PS3's disc tray breaks, wouldn't you still be able to use the online functions/ downloads?

Yes but I don't find most of the downloads worthwhile especially if I can't play physical games. It's pointless to me.

Oh. Ok then. I would have thought being able to play the games at all better than not playing them :-/

I don't really own that many games worth playing outside of InFamous and Flower. Sonic Adventure but... yeah, you know.

So I'm going to buy a new one in the near future and hopefully I'll fall in love with it all over again.

So Tales of Grace F this week. Who is a;; getting it.

Yeah, the length might turn some people off but you pay for the experience, which is fantastic (best experience I have had this console generation). It's two hours or less if you simply rush through the game and don't explore, but you'll need to spend more time searching in your first playthrough or replay the game multiple times to find all the symbols and history boards (unless you use a guide). I went on about ten journeys since I got it and just recently found everything and achieved most of the trophies. I can't wait for the game to open up to everyone so I can have the satisfaction of helping noobs through the game, similar to how some players helped me find certain things in the game when I started out.

I had no problems with the $15 price tag either. It seemed steep to me at first (before I had the pleasure of experiencing the game) but I would have to pay close to that (or more if I want 3D) for a ticket to a 2-hour or less movie and I would only get to sit through the movie once. And the movie probably wouldn't be half as good as Journey.

yeah, if the game is really worth replaying so much, the game being short usually doesn't matter.

I never got around to getting all the treasures on Uncharted so been working on that today.

I mean don't get me wrong I still feel Uncharted is a very good game but after playing Uncharted 2 the first does feel like a downgrade.

It's not a knock on Uncharted really it's just that they improved upon it so much from the first to the second.

The entire internet's somehow simultaneous trolling yet not-giving-a-crap of this stupid show has been a highlight of the past month.

I stopped watching after egoraptor was canned.

Who's getting Shoot Many Robots this week? I'm so all over this!!! I think some guys who worked on borderlands did it and I've been waiting on it.It could be like a 2d borderlands or something, the style resembles it alot and it has Loot drops man.
