I started playing Final Fantasy VII, and the moment I heard the Final Fantasy title screen music, I knew this would be a great game.

And I was right. I'm not far, but so far the story is great. Cloud is different from your average protagonist. He doesn't care about what happens to the planet. He's a jerk to the other AVALANCHE members.

The battle system is also great. It's sort of like Chrono Trigger's, but the limit break was a great addition.

It's funny because characters like Cloud are so common now.

And yeah the FF prelude is a nice piece.

That's putting it lightly. And I found Cloud to be rather humorous around the beginning - not only is he a jerk, but he's kind of full of himself, too, and I can't help but laugh.

I think I read somewhere that he composed it while simply playing around on a piano one day

Has the Starhawk beta expired? Because my code in my new copy of Uncharted 3 doesn't work. I might be typing it in wrong though.

I don't think the public beta has started yet. I believe the beta that recently ended was private.

El Shaddai Ascension of the Metatron is really fun. I got it brand new for $20 and I'm really getting into it. It reminds me of Okami and Devil May Cry. The voice acting also reminds me of Catherine. _Flawless.

Sounds interesting. I haven't heard a whole lot about this game. Might have to have a look into it.

@link the beta i think you are talking about was for dedicated warhawk players only (by invitation), and the beta from the uncharted game starts "early 2012"

If your really interested in it then you should read this review. It's a really fun game and the art style is jaw dropping. Since Okami, I've never seen such a vibrant water colored world. It's possibly even better than Okami. If you have ever played God of War you would know it revolves around Greek mythology. Like GoW, El Shaddai revolves around the Bible, in a way. Some may be turned off by what I've just said but it's not like what you may think. _{It's really hard to describe how it references} Of course I'm not very far but from what I've played (only 8% of trophies), I can see some wicked twists.

Plus it's really cheap. You can't go wrong.

@LordTendoBoy DUST 514 is directly integrated into the EVE Online servers and it is exclusive to Sony platforms. PS3 will include Move support and it will be fully playable with the PS Vita as well. Motion Controlled MMO and MMO on-the-go, I'm calling a win!

EDIT: Oh, plan on spending 30+ minutes of you life today watching something I've got going up on Movemodo. It's bone-crushingly awesome!

Really excited to hear El Shaddai price dropped. I was really intrigued by the out there story and sexy homo-erotic art-style of the game. I almost bought it back at launch but there were so many mixed reviews as far gameplay went that I decided to hold off. I will pick it up immediately now though.

@slap SSX is a day one buy for me. Ive had all of them since tricky even blur (which wasnt as bad as people say) but im really looking forward to this

Ordered Arkham Asylum GOTY to round out my Arkham PS3 collection. And it has playable Joker levels

@Smithers SSX 3 blew my mind when it came out and Tricky got as much game time has the old PSone Tony Hawk game's in my group of friends.

So I finally slapped in Ratchet and Clank: All for One and needless to say, I'm overly impressed with the game. I didn't think it would work too well, but wow is it fun!

Finally beat Arkham City with 49% I don't know if I'll go for 100% completion or not.
