@Splat Congrats on the PS3! RE5 is a very good game, it's just very different from the others and as you probably know, that tends to tick off lots of folks.

@smithers/Viewtiful I actually think the the SP in MW/MW2 are quite fantastic as well. I've played through both of them multiple times and I find them to be just as action packed and entertaining as a modern day war flick - a good thing for myself, but they're definitely not everyone's cup of tea. I also know people who don't like Uncharted's story line too, but that's understandable too, because just because they're both stellar games with awesome single player storylines, they will never be anything that everyone like all the same - I'm sure both of you know this though.

I actually think that it's time for Naughty Dog to revamp their climbing section in Uncharted. My biggest gripe with U3 is that the climbing section are just too easy. There's no challenge to them at all, just really great eye candy.

Oh, and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is OFF THE CHAIN!!! _{just so you guys will know}

I agree 100%.

Mostly cheating by using care package glitches. one kill equals the strongest perk you have.

@splat Congrats! get the uncharted series for sure, as well as infamous (imo i enjoyed the first more than the second but many would disagree)

Most of the players that don't have a prestige symbol (or as I like to call em', 11th prestige) usually have radar hacks and aimbot.

I have been told this by more people than I can count lol. I for sure plan on checking it out there are just 3-4 games I want to get first but all 3 Uncharted games are on my list... I think you can get a combo pack of both 1 and 2 for like $35-$40 on Amazon I will be looking in to that in time.

So far so good. It took longer to set up than I was expecting but all in all good times. I didn't play RE5 real long just a chapter or two but I can all ready tell I will get my $16 worth. I will add you guys in time but it's the only game I own and I want to get my feet wet and get a few more games before I go online.

I saw resident evil... If you want to play online, give me a shout.

@Splat Yep, test the waters and enjoy yourself. One that I know some people do is grab way too many games at first and overload themselves, so I wouldn't recommend doing that. I do highly recommend the Uncharted series though. I know that people over-hype games and all, but this is one series that truly deserves the hype. The first game actually didn't receive much hype at all, it all started with UC2, which is one of the best videogames ever developed.

Check out the inFamous series as well. I'm a big fan of Uncharted but I actually find inFamous to be the best new exclusive IP created for the PS3. If you don't have the money or time to get either of the first two games right away, there's a stand alone PSN title called inFamous: Festival of Blood, it's only $10 and it's fairly short but real fun and gives you a good idea of what the games play like.

Edit: Just so you know, they're not the awesome monster icons that the japan store has. They're from MHFU, with 6 avatars of artwork (two felynes, one snowy hunter guy, rathalos, azure los, and tiggy), and 4 of in-game models (female hunter in kirin < 3, YKK, kitty and poogie).

I don't have the money to overload my self with games lol. I'm going to try and get one or two more this week and it will probably be awhile till I get another after that. It won't be this week but I have all ready deiced I will be giving Uncharted a chance.

If you do go with Uncharted, I suggest going with the Dual Pack. As Slapshot said, the first game is actually not that great, but you need to play it to get the story. The second game, on the other hand, is fantastic.
