I know this if kind of a strange question, but I am thinking of getting The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and would like to play it with a friend. I know about the game's GBA functionality. However, I do not own a GBA. I do own a DSPhat, Gamecube(with Game Boy Player), and Wii.
I don't suppose that using the DSPhat would work. However, I would Like to know if I could use the Game Boy Player and connect it to the Wii. If so, I'll probably get the cable.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found this video [youtube:2qyDX3WibgM]
I already knew that the DSPhat wouldn't work. What I was asking is if I could use the cord below to plug the Game Boy Player into the Wii. I would be playing the Gamecube game on the Wii and the Gamecube would be using my Game Boy Player.
Here is the picture of the cable:
I appreciate your input, but I was wondering if someone could try it out before I decide if I'll buy the cable.
No the cable connects the GBA to the controller port on GCN/Wii and the and the player connect on the bottom of GCN not thru controller port and shouldnt this be under help or at least retro why other?
@blink Sorry for posting this in the wrong section and sorry for any confusion. @NFreak Thanks. The TV I use can do Picture-In-Picture, so I should only need to hook the Gamecube up to the same TV. I know its theoretically possible, but could someone this theory?
Basically, I want to use my Wii to play the game, and my Gamecube as the tingle tuner. Could someone with the hardware please try this out? You don't have to have to have Wind Waker, Sonic Adventure DX/2, or any other GCN-GBA game would work.
