Topic: Your most anticipated Switch games of 2020?

Because I believe that Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, SMT 5 and BotW 2 are 2021 games, there is not that much to wait for. But Xenoblade and Animal Crossing is still there.

I have too many 2019 games that I need to get tho.

I have Animal Crossing: New Horizons as the only thing on my radar for Switch in 2020 at the minute. Breath of the Wild 2 is, but I'm unsure whether that will be a 2020 title. It's about the same on other platforms as well, with only LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Watch Dogs: Legion on my list.

I expect the Direct that's sure to be coming soon will give a few other Nintendo related games that I'll add to that list.

Firstly, Resident Evil 3. Secondly, Final Fantasy VII Remake but I'll wait for the Xbox Series port (it has been confirmed that it's a temporary PS exclusive).

You guys mentioned not confirmed games! The I'd say Project Zero/Fatal Frame compilation/remakes.

I'm not too excited about BotW 2 because BotW is my least favourite 3D Zelda game. Seriously.

I love Pikmin and I like Metroid Prime but who knows when Nintendo will release those.

Not a huge fan of Animal Crossing, Viva Piñata is better.

I could definitely use a Direct to flesh things out on Switch, but I've yet to play Daemon X Machina, New Super Lucky's Tale, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, and a few others (mostly digital only games), so I'm not in a hurry. Heck, I'll probably only play one or two of those PS4 2020 games, as I usually stock up on sale games (usually a bit older releases) rather than playing the newest releases.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's not even close. Even if BOTW 2 ends up coming out this year, I'm still more hyped for Animal Crossing. Super Mario Odyssey 2 could be confirmed soon and have a 2020 release and I would still be hyped more for Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is one of my all-time favorite games. It's not Top 10, but it's likely Top 20-25. After not getting a new main installment in about 7 years, it's high time to get a new Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing is easily #1. Even though Xenoblade Chronicles is my all time favorite game, this will be a remaster, so I am more hyped for ACNH.

Otherwise I am curious about what Pokemon will do. Outer Worlds looks cool too. And I am hoping for something amazing that I don't yet know of.

Welp, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon remake just jumped to my #1 most anticipated (that's confirmed) after playing the demo.

It's also added onto my list of most anticipated for Switch. Can't wait to be going through the full game.

I'm most hyped about the re release of Doom 64 & the new game Bravely Default 2
