I just bought Witcher 3 Complete Edition. I Downloaded all the DLCs as well. Whenever I try to link my steam account in the menu screen I get redirected to a page with the message "This page cannot be displayed". I would appreciate it if anyone else has encountered this issue and can provide further feedback on the matter.
@geomakaro I found these directions, which may be relevant. Reading these, it sounds like there are settings on the PC side that need to be enabled? Disregard, if you've done that already.
@WoomyNNYes This would be useful If I even get the chance to link my steam account. Right now Switch has no idea of my steam's account existence and doesn't even let me "try" linking which is my main issue.
@geomakaro If it's not a common issue, then contacting CD Projekt Red (the developer) support may be your best option. I found it difficult to find an actual contact form, but I finally found one under the "cannot start new game" topic for Witcher 3, Switch platform.
@geomakaro Nintendo support does have directions for "page cannot be displayed" error. Circa 2019-2020, I've seen this solution come up a couple times. Back then, I think it resolved an eshop issue that appeared after a Switch udpate. This may be worth trying.
I think this posting is best directed to CD Projekt Red and if this is eShop issue then contacting Nintendo eShop support where you bought it would be emailed about the issue as well. And NL nor Nintendo has anything to do with Steam Cloud that is Steam support to reply back to about. Only thing would be a NSO account to have cloud game backup and that is the extent of it.
Hello! Yesterday I bought the base game of TW3 and I have exactly the same problem, can anyone solve it??? I already tried updating the console and the game and deleting the cache of the account
Bought Witcher 3 on Steam and Switch both for cross save feature.
But I have the same problem.
I think it's not correct to sell the game as a cross save, but this feature is not useful.
Hope they will fix it soon.
