I pre-ordered NASCAR rivals and paid for it a week prior to it's release (per the Nintendo eShop preorder system). On Friday October 7 2022 the game became playable. Since it's release on October 7 I am unable to play the career mode due to the game crashing everytime I choose to begin the NASCAR season (Daytona).

I have tried to contact the makers of the game (motorsports Inc) to report the bug/glitch causing the crashes through their email account given to report issues with their software. So far 10 days later there has been no patch or update for NASCAR rivals to fix the issue.

Do you believe Nintendo will offer refund if I were to ask or am I permanently stuck with a broken digital game?

@AppleroseGrace No, I’m pretty sure when you buy a game they explicitly state that Nintendo will not offer a re fun. And if they do it’s in fairy rare cases like the Pokémon sword and shield dlc, where people were getting them mixed up, but games just glitching, which hopefully it will be fix, they don’t re fund.

Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@AppleroseGrace
I’ve heard of people calling Nintendo support and getting a one time refund. Some people say they could get the refund and some say they couldn’t. But if the game is unplayable, what do you have left to lose?
