Pls help, my daughter is playing Splatoon 2 in sector 1. She completed all checkpoint . But, when she died all the life. She have to replay again All 7 check point. How to save, and no need to replay all again. Pls help.
@mmdy in level 1 hub world, after you beat the boss, a new portal unlocks that can take you to the next level. That portal is on the edge of the level 1 hub world.
I may come back in a few minutes to give you the name of level 2, or another bit of direction.
@mmdy If you ever get really stuck in a game, you search youtube for "Splatoon 2 longplay", or "Splatoon 2 walkthrough", and find a video of someone playing through the entire game.
I pasted this youtube video so it will start playing right when the level 2 portal unlocks, so you can see where it is - you'll see & hear the glass breaking in the video, and see the giant octopus tentacle in the background. When you stand on the portal, it will say "Jump to Suction-Cup Lookout", that's level 2! Every time you beat a boss, it will unlock the portal to the next level.
@Woomy_NNYes , thx for your reply. I understood. She can go to level 2 , but the point is when she quit the game then go back. She have to play level 1 all the checkpoint again. Can’t not start in level 2. Have to replay every time when she lose her life or turn on again the game.
@mmdy Oh got you now. If she can go to Sector 2, then the progress was saved.
Yeah, this is how the game was designed. I don't blame you for being a bit confused. No matter what level you reach in Splatoon 2's single player game, every time you leave the game and come back, the game always drops you at the Sector 1 hub world, because that's where that Orange/Black grill-looking-thing is, where you can upgrade weapons. And the girl with the umbrella there can give you tips. There is a shortcut though! If you hit X in the single player game, it opens a menu with a MAP tab, and you can select, Sector 1, Sector 2, Sector 3, etc. Then, you can select the level number you were last at, and it will take you straight there instantly.
After you hit X, here's what the MAP menu looks like:
Don't be scared to call Nintendo. I've called them a few times. It's easy to get someone on the phone, and they are really nice. I have nothing but positive things to say about their support line.
