@PikminMarioKirby subspace only had one bad level (or mash or levels) which sucked terribly but atleast made sense story wise and i dont understand the rep for fire emblem instead of other franchises as fire emblem has a pretty small fanbase yet people who actually understand it. and i dont think most people knew what a marth was before smash melee or smash in general, but this isnt saying fire emblem isnt good

and i personally believe that all these extra 3rd partys shouldnt be in smash as it turns it from a nintendo fighting game into a fighting game and people dont recognize the franchises and charecters enough!1!11! but sonic and the other charecters that make sense to be in a nintendo game make sense

(also i saw you like 3 times in different forums so hiya!!!)

@acesae Hi! I agree there are some 3rd parties in smash bros that should definitely be there, just a lot less than there are now. Sonic, Pac-Man, Hero, and Banjo all are great fits and are very iconic on Nintendo consoles.
I think there should be a few Fire Emblem reps, but not 8. Series like Kirby and Zelda are due for another rep, both haven’t got one since Brawl.

@acesae Yeah, WOL was maybe the biggest letdown in Ultimate now that I’m thinking about it. I knew for years everyone said it was disappointing because of the lack of cutscenes and interactions between fighters, but I’m surprised no one really brought up how lackluster the spirit battles were and the cool map being underused. I was also surprised the theater mode thing that lets you watch cutscenes is so barren. I was initially expecting a buttload of cutscenes from WOL, but I’m sure WOL only has, I wanna say, maybe around 6-8 cutscenes, including ending cutscenes. It’s a shame, because cutscenes really would have made WOL feel more like a story mode, not to mention the animation in the cutscenes is splendid.

I did kind of like All-Star in Wii U, but them making it harder by removing the rest area in Ultimate was annoying. You have to try really hard to keep your damage low, but it’s so hard when you have a ton of different fighters attacking you at the same time. I only ever got onto the 1990s characters (since the order of fighters in All-Star goes by their debut year) and it was so bad. I just gave up because it was so challenging.

The trophies were so fun to collect. I can understand why they removed trophies since they mentioned making them was time-consuming (and I can’t imagine how much more time-consuming it would be to give all 1528 Spirits) but I would have kind of liked if they still included the info on the characters, some fun trivia, talking about what they do in their games, and the game they debuted in. It still is nice they have details on the series they come from, but it still sucks the info on the characters was removed.

If you’re curious, the character in my PFP is Toothy from Happy Tree Friends.

Should have also mentioned that I also don’t really mind the DLC fighters in the game. My two mains are actually DLC, but I don’t mind a lot of the choices they went with (even Byleth), though I’ll say the DLC fighters did come off a bit overpowered with their movesets and have plenty of moves that can be spammed. I main Banjo but even then I think his moveset is spammy.
