I'm planning on getting a new micro sd for my switch but I'm not sure which brand is best. I usually go for sandisk but they seem to be more expensive. I saw a Lexar 1 TB for 65 dollars What size card would you suggest for someone with a somewhat large collection of digital games? I have maybe over 300 games. Would a 1 TB suffice?

I always use SanDisk SD cards. Never had any trouble with them - and that kind of trust is often worth the price.

Depending on the games you want to get and your budget - especially now that Black Friday is done(?) - a 512 GB one could be enough.

Yeah sandisk does appear to have a pretty good reputation. Might go with that.

When I was shopping for my first microSD card for Switch, I found an article that suggested you stick to SanDisk or Samsung as they are the industry leaders. I've bought a bunch of them by now, all SanDisk. Best to skip cards where the brand is "MEMORY CARD", etc.

When I bought my first card, I read an article that said 128 GB is all you need.
It was not.
So I upgraded to a 1TB.
Then last year I got a 1.5TB.
Now they're rolling out 2TB cards (that's the limit the Switch can handle).
But now I'm wondering if the "Switch 2" will even use those cards, so I'm holding off until they announce the specifics.

I stick with SanDisk. I've also heard that Samsung makes a reliable SD card too. I've had issues with other card brands, so be cautious if you decide to get one.
