I'm planning on getting a new micro sd for my switch but I'm not sure which brand is best. I usually go for sandisk but they seem to be more expensive. I saw a Lexar 1 TB for 65 dollars What size card would you suggest for someone with a somewhat large collection of digital games? I have maybe over 300 games. Would a 1 TB suffice?

When I was shopping for my first microSD card for Switch, I found an article that suggested you stick to SanDisk or Samsung as they are the industry leaders. I've bought a bunch of them by now, all SanDisk. Best to skip cards where the brand is "MEMORY CARD", etc.

When I bought my first card, I read an article that said 128 GB is all you need.
It was not.
So I upgraded to a 1TB.
Then last year I got a 1.5TB.
Now they're rolling out 2TB cards (that's the limit the Switch can handle).
But now I'm wondering if the "Switch 2" will even use those cards, so I'm holding off until they announce the specifics.
These micro Sd express cards sure are expensive and hard to find. My 256 is already nearly full. For a 512 gig card it's 118 freaking dollars! Do I dare attempt to buy a 1 TB?
I saw walmart has the ONN cards much cheaper but not sure those are trustworthy. Plus they won't even ship them for some reason and i don't live anywhere near a walmart to pick one up. So frustrating! 😠

I got an ONN card via delivery. Maybe they were just out of the for-delivery ones when you checked?
Performance-wise, the ONN cards are a little slower than the SanDisk cards but still significantly faster than actual cartridges.
I use a Lexar one on my Switch, 256 GB.
The vast majority of my collection is physical, but even then, the space won't be enough, as I have some heavyweight games on my eShop wishlist (Doom Eternal and Hellblade). I'll have to upgrade to a 512 GB one soon.
On my 3DS XL I use a 32 GB Sandisk, and it's been there for over 10 years, so yes, it's a good brand.
