Most people would want to wait until after the NX comes out before deciding the purchase, but what's one thing that would make you instantly pre-order an NX?
It to be officially announced with possibly any details. I am a Nintendo fan and am enjoying my Wii U and 3DS a lot. I am not sure what would make me not pre-order a NX, except I don't pre-order anything anymore now lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I don't preorder anything, but aside from a catastrophe, I'm 100% sure I'll get an NX. I love Nintendo, their games are still my favorites in the entire industry - even if massive disappointments like this year's E3 happen from time to time.
It needs a stellar lineup of games. And I mean absolutely mindblowing, fanboyish wish list level stellar. I need to see that Nintendo is committed to making bigger and bolder experiences again that take gaming in new directions, and they can't really prove that until I see 3 or more big games that do so.
Zelda, 3D Mario akin to Galaxy/64, Metroid Prime 4, Paper Mario akin to Thousand Year Door, Pokémon MMO, and new IP that blows everyone's minds. All of these launch with the system.
So it looks like I won't have to worry about pre-ordering the NX. Too burned after the Wii U.

Pre-ordering is stupid unless you think there is going to be a shortage. And in the case of consoles, I kind of like the atmosphere of lining up one morning to go pick one up.
