If you're like me, there are probably a few franchises you have so many games of it requires its own physical shelf or own directory on Switch for digital.
I specified Switch to keep it a bit finite, but you can include overall as a seperate category if you'd like.
By game universe I mean directly related franchises, not weird cross-overs (e.g. Mario and Kirby are not in the same gameverse just because they're both in Smash).
I only have 1 folder I gave the name Digital for every digital games I bought, but it seems no matter how cheap and how many digital games I purchased, the games are neglected after being played for 1 or 2 times.
But, if talking about my physical Switch games collection, I have categories like these.
1. Square-Enix games
FF X/X-2 HD
FF XII The Zodiac Age
FF VII + VIII HD Remastered
FF IX HD Remastered
World of Final Fantasy MAXIMA
Chocobo Dungeon Every Buddy
Dragon Quest Builders 1
Dragon Quest Builders 2
2. Casual games
1-2-Switch
Pocoyo Party
Moving Out
3. Exploration
Yonder The Cloud Catcher Chronicles
Go Vacation
LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER
Castlevania:
CV II Simon's Quest
CV II Belmont's Revenge
2x CV The Adventure
CV Requiem
2x CV Classic Collection
2x CV Advance Collection
CV Curse of Darkness
2x CV Circle of the Moon
CV Harmony of Dissonance
CV Aria of Sorrow
CV Double Pack
3x CV Dawn of Sorrow
2x CV Portrait of Ruin
CV Order of Ecclesia
Don't get too surprised when you read this... Mario's the one franchise I have the most Switch games for. I know, it's a huge surprise, lol! On the Switch, I have quite a few Zelda, Sonic, and Mega Man games as well, but the amount of Mario games I have has them all beat by a pretty large margin.

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Without counting properly I think it has to be Mario, both on Switch and overall. Sometimes it feels like half the games Nintendo releases are in the Mario franchise, and if we're going by universe that includes Donkey Kong too (not that he's very well represented on Switch, sadly).
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
Probably Mario, since there’s just so many Mario games on Switch. Kirby is probably 2nd most, there’s also quite a bit of Kirby games on Switch compared to many other Nintendo franchises.
@PikminMarioKirby It feels like there are a lot of Kirby games on Switch, but only 6. There are surprisingly many franchises with more games than that, although it wouldn't shock me if Mario had the most with 30-ish.... ignoring things like AAA clock.
Definitely Zelda, since I own almost all the Zelda games released on the Switch: Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, Skyward Sword, the Link's Awakening remake, Age of Calamity, Cadence of Hyrule, and soon I'll have one more with Echoes of Wisdom. The only one I don't have is the first Hyrule Warriors game.
