I am wondering, what F2P (Free to play) switch games are worth my time?
They have to be:
Rated up to T for teen because I am not old enough to play M games
They have to be games, so Nothing Like YouTube which is really not a game
no Demos
Fire Emblem Three Houses is my favorite game
Ashe is the best character in FE:3H
Waluigi For Smash
The game I want most on switch is a new WarioWare (Welp. we got that!)
My favorite movie is Toy Story 3
@LatsaSpege You can search free games on eshop. Open up "other filters", select "software" and price range "free". The eshop "best sellers" algorithm is based on a recent timeframe (not all-time sales total). I bought Rocket League in 2018, before it was free to play, and I still play it. So that's my recommendation to try (rocket league). Fortnite might be the most popular, but you can see the full list of free games on eshop.
@LatsaSpege I bought a switch last Christmas and bought splatoon 2, Mario kart 8 deluxe, and Luigi mansion 3, I have around 200 games from e shop , but the only game I play is fortnite and it's free, the great thing about fortnite is that they change the story about 4 time's a year and also give you brand new weapon 's which is really good ( new weapons is what these 's sort of game's are about ) . When a new season start's you can buy a battle pass or win your way around and get v buck's to pay for the next season . Fortnote is what all them other battle royal games copied . Like GTA, PUBG, they were nearly 25 year's working on it before it was released. If you want a good free game really try this.
All free games I own on Nintendo Switch by order I like it:
1. Spellbreak - most fun and entertaining Battle Royal concept out there.
2. Fortnite.
3. Pokémon Quest - it's nice small Pokémon game with possibility that in the distant future will support Pokémon from Generations 2-7 as well, but possibility is super small atm.
4. Dawn of the Breakers - it's nice game that I only played for less then hour, but I plan to continue to play it after I buy and get my Video Capture Device.
5. Arena of Valor - I only own this, because those who tested Beta version of Nintendo Switch version of this game gotta exclusive skin.
6. Jump Rope Challenge - I only own this, because Nintendo Life said that the game will be removed from eShop at a end of September and you still be able play it if you downloaded it before removal even after removal. But removal didn't happen and it's still at eShop.
I own 3 more Free to Play games, but those games requires Nintendo Online Service, so it's not totally free in first place, so I won't mention them.

https://www.change.org/p/anmtvla-pokemonlatam-español-latino-en-los-juegos-de-pokémon - let's help this petition for Latin American Spanish be add to Pokémon games and with that may increase chance that in future Pokémon games adds more languages. :)
I gave Warframe 3,500+ hours and $850 over a period of four years.
Easily one of my favorite games for this generation of platforms.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

I'm not an expert on Fortnite but I feel like this may not be true
Anyway I quite like Pokemon Cafe Mix. It's probably not the best F2P game out there but it's a nice relaxing game and the microtransactions are not too intrusive at all based on the couple of hours I've played.
Its on record that Fortnite started development in 2011 and was released several months after PUBG had already blown up the battle royale scene in early 2017.

It's funny how the mythology can build up in just the three years since then though.
Just to add, the Battle Royale mode was a last minute addition which took two months to develop rather than what Fortnite was aimed to be and had spent years developing. The Save the World mode is what the game was envisioned as originally.
Currently my fave is still Asphalt 9. Its business model isn't too invasive, and the game plays like a dream. At least for me, that is. Just been updated with brand new tracks.
I also like Spellbreak. Splurged a couple of bucks on it, regretted the skin I bought when another way cooler one came out, but all in all a fun romp. I am not playing it right now though, waiting for a little bit more content.
Fortnite is fine too. I personally dislike the introduction of "famous" characters and the insane speed at which they release them, but that's a personal thing. From a gaming standpoint it's a pretty fun game.
