Yareli Prime Access goes live today. Kompressa Prime and Daikyu Prime will be her weapons.
As with any prime access, this is time when I actually care about the frame. Whenever a new frame is introduced, I feed it to helminth after leveling it to max. I don't invest in a frame until the prime variant arrives a few years later. Saves time, effort, and resources (potatoes and forma).
Tennocon 2025 this weekend, Tenno Live on July 19th at 4:30pm EST. I'm eager to see what the next major update will entail. Personally, I'm hoping for a corrosive combo mod set, because even though my Torid Incarnon does all the damage...I still want more.
I've been feeling super-lazy in WF recently. I find myself becoming agitated by the incarnon weapons' click-to-transform mechanic. I think I'm done with incarnon primaries. Transforming my primary several times in one mission has begun to trigger me.
Time to pivot. I believe the Tenet Glaxion is the best non-incarnon beam weapon in the game. I'm going with innate magnetic damage. And with the riven disposition being only 1-out-of-5, I'm going with toxic and electric on the riven for corrosive. As a result my TG has cold, corrosive, magnetic, and radiation...supported by viral from Nourish.
This TG has a dps lower than a third than that of my Torid Incarnon, but it clears trash mobs just fine. Now I must spend the next here to infinity rolling my TG riven until I get that sweet sweet g-roll. Preferably +critical damage / +toxic / +electricity / -zoom. But we're talking about a one-in-a-million roll here.
Tenet Glaxion Build (60% Magnetic innate)
Primary Frostbite
Vigilante Supplies
Supported by Arcane Acceleration and Reinforced Bond for +150% fire rate and Nourish for viral.
Build Theory
I've always preferred Primary Frostbite's mechanic of building stack on status effect rather than building stack on kills as Primary Merciless and Primary Deadhead do. Corrosive, Viral, and Magnetic are the three most important statuses to have on your weapons (bonus overguard damage, armor strip, and bonus damage to health). And radiation damage is the preferred damage type against bosses and Deimos necramech.
You won't be at the top for damage in the end mission stat sheet, but you will be super-comfortable in your time-to-kill.
I've done a couple changes to my loadout recently. For as much as I love the Vasto Incarnon's ability to one-tap acolytes. The small incarnon charge has become annoying for me. So, coming with the Sunday weekly reset, I'll be looking to change to the Furis Incarnon.
This change is additionally motivated by the addition of Arcane Hot Shot that came with the 1999 update. +300% critical chance (multiplicative with your weapon's base cc) for your primary, secondary, and melee weapon. Stacks are built with heat procs from abilities, +6% crit chance per stack up to 50x. So either a Diriga with Arc Coil + Manifold Bond or a Hound with Synergized Prospectus/Repo Audit + Manifold Bond can keep Arcane Hot Shot at max stack for as long as trash mob density allows it.
AHS is less effective against boss types that are immune to status effects, but against Acolytes and Demolysts it should be fine.
If you prefer to kill trash mobs with weapons rather than abilities, I don't see how it gets better than an unranked Combat Discipline + Arcane Avenger + Arcane Hot Shot. The only argument would be...that you prefer using frame arcane slots for either survival or ability strength for ability kills .
