In the back of my memory I've read a couple of articles similar to the comment below where it seems a lot of American indies do not get approved (struggling to get/develop on the Switch) compared to Europeans. Why is that? I have noticed doing some research that there do seem to be a lot of European indie devs/publishers on the Switch eShop compared to Americans. Especially shovelware & flip assets. Is there some deal NOA has? This is all confusing, sad, and interesting.
"To answer the “Why not Switch”? My guess is Nintendo won’t approve them. For some reason, NOA makes it hard to get approved for Switch development - despite there being tons and tons of “shovelware” on the platform. I assume most of that is coming out of Europe which from what I understand is more accepting to basically anyone."
Oh, hey its funny to see RCMADIAX comment on there. I know them for shovelware games and I even bought one of theirs on Wii U. It's interesting it's harder to get approved.
It’s fricken RCMADIAX, the god of shovelware. Most WiiU owners get PTSD if we see his name. If NOA changed their policy to be more stringent I am willing to bet he is a large part of that reason. I had to hold myself back from saying anything but I did laugh myself silly at the irony of his comment.

@Ryu_Niiyama I assume RCMADIAX also tried to get on the Switch and did not get in, but its interesting because if they didn't get approved, how did EU JP shovelware get the green lit on the NOA eShop?
