Hey forum
So. This USB situation is confusing me. Anyone here able to help explain the following behaviour.
I have:
The official AC adaptor to USB-C which comes with the switch.
(This charges the switch fast and without problem)
I have the USB-C cable that comes with the Pro-controller
(This also charges the switch fine, from a wall adaptor, a laptop, and my Lumsing Power bank - spec 5V/1.5A)
I have an Anker USB3 to USB-C cable.
(This charges from my laptop usb 3.0 port. A VERY slow charge from iPhone power brick. And no charge AT ALL from the aforementioned power brick)
Basically. Are USB-C cables not all the same, and do they react differently to different sources?
I wanted to use the Anker cable with a power brick, as it is smaller and leaves my Nintendo cable safely at home.
This is all very odd and I am usually rather tech-savvy.
This is all new tech area for me. But I want to get a Anker battery to charge and play with. As long as it's for USB C there should be no issues right? Has Nintendo made any comments on using anything other than their charger or the car chargers?
