Topic: Transferring account and data to new Switch?

So I have a new Switch with its own new uSD card on the way. When I perform a transfer of my account to the new one, can the contents of the uSD on the original Switch also be transferred to the new uSD on the new Switch?

If so, how does one do this or is it automatic when I perform the account transfer from the old Switch to the new Switch?

First read Nintendo Support on how to do this before asking us. You can get confusing information on this.
What I do.
1. Format the card
2. transfer the data from the first to computer folder that you created to saved the Nintendo folder to.
3. copy the data from that but don't over write the new data formatted on the new card
4. why, doing so will make it think your using the old card and the new Switch will ask to format it
5. thus loosing any data saved or created
6. place the new card back into the Switch with if OFF then your saved games and data on it should be recognized back
7. some eShop or DLC might need to be redownloaded
