Topic: Switch Pro Controller - No Serial Number

I bought what was supposed to be a brand new official pro controller from the Game Collection but something is not right there is no serial number shown on my Switch 2 (I was going to offload it to Cex there is nothing wrong with it. Works fine gets firmware updates. It did have a newer dpad (Tetris 99 is not impossible with it) I think imports should be labelled as such but there is no information I can find about this anywhere.

I have pic s that prove that when it’s plugged in there is definitely no serial number. (Maybe they got them cheap or something but I certainly didn’t. I have given them a fair bit of money.

I tried sending it in as a story but no response. Nintendo support was reluctant to confirms or deny anything. I could have bought from Anazon for the same price.
