As the title says my switch is rapidly dying and won't charge. It died last night and I haven't been able to get it to recognize any type C charger. I read Nintendo's article that claimed you need to fully drain and charge the switch multiple times, but I can't even get it to charge while dead.
A little background info: both me and my friend brought our switches to an Iraq deployment where they charged fine off of a generator for 7 months. Now we are in kuwaitt waiting to cycle back to the States and we both had this issue arrise at the same time. Could it be Kuwaitts different voltage that's messing with my switch??
Any help is appreciated

It could be a voltage issue. Kuwait is 240v and the voltage in Iraq is 230v (so Google tells me), although who knows what sort of power the generator was outputting, perhaps the power it was outputting was dipping as more people were using it and this may have caused some kind of damage to the battery. I'm not 100% on this, but maybe someone with electrical knowledge will chime in.

I'm assuming that the Switches sold in the Middle East would all be able to handle 240v as standard. If you were to run it off a lower voltage you would need a voltage convertor.
