Topic: Super Mario Bros U Deluxe

For the last 12 months I have been playing New Super Mario Bros U with my nephew on the Wii U. I have completed both Mario and Luigi games without too much difficulty.

However, after upgrading to the Switch and playing Deluxe, I am struggling to even pass the first world.

Have they made the Switch version more difficult or am I just having trouble with the different controls? Luigi does seem to slide around a lot more on the Switch.

@purpledaisies69 gameplay-wise they are essentially identical so I am guessing it is the controls? I played through the whole game last year with no issue. One control difference in Deluxe is if you are in the air and press the jump button it will do a spin unlike in the original. You can turn that off it is causing issues.
