Yeah since same sex marriage is not yet legal in Japan, they call it best friends there.

We expect it to become marriage elsewhere, like they did with Friends of Mineral Town.

As far as I know. No.

According to wikipedia:

articles 731 to 737 of the Japanese Civil Code limit marriage to different-sex couples. Same-sex couples are not able to marry, and same-sex couples are not granted rights derived from marriage.

Apparently, the most you can get is a "certificate of partnership", which while it doesn't carry any legal weight, it's apparently used for certain situations, like hospital visits.

Sorry this is so delayed, but you don't think these graphics trend more toward realism than Friends of Mineral Town?

Not really, no.

They just made the characters a bit taller and gave them mouths. If that's enough to make it <realistic> for some, that's fine.

The most realistic I've seen from the series is A Wonderful Life, and that's really just because of the "real is brown"-style environments, the game is still pretty cartoony.

New info about the PC customization, NPCs and kids and pets. Happy to see dark skin tones. Hoping for a variety of shades to better match human skin tones.

Gotta say after reading about the NPCs I will have to pine after Sydney. Why u no let me marry Sydney, Marvelous?! runs off to woods to cry

Aw, it’s just from their three 3DS games, kinda wish they took characters from a wider variety of BokuMono games.

Maybe one pack from the SNES/GB-N64/PS1 era, one from the GC/PS2-Wii/DS era, and one from the 3DS era would’ve been cool.
