So I am quickly learning that Splatoon 3 is a great game!
...That I will never have a complete match in unless I'm losing.
The SECOND my team starts winning; someone DCs.
I am on 3 wins/8 losses. And I should be at at least 6/8 after this morning.
Can someone tell me; is there even a DC penalty?
"They got a loss" is CLEARLY not enough, because people have found ways around it.
What genius thought 'Let salty quitters close down matches' was even a good idea? :
@Eguzky I don't know about Splatoon 3 yet. Although, in Splatoon 2, if someone disconnected, 1-2 times, the next time you try to go into a new match, loading would be interrupted, and a prompt will say "sorry to bring the hammer down", you have a 5 minute ban, or something like that. If you disconnect again, soon after, your ban time increases to an hour, maybe, then a day? I'm going off very fuzzy memory, so don't hold me to those exact times.
Nintendo does what they can to make it painful for repeat disconnects. So, I imagine Splatoon 3 should be similar.
@Eguzky They may not be rage quitting, alot of people have junk internet which causes them to disconnect. Nintendo have even acknowledged there's alot of disconnects so are working on a patch.
@Eguzky I'm not sure if people are actually rage quitting. I haven't jumped into this game as much as I wanted to because I also was experiencing a metric ton of connection errors.

Good to know they are working on a patch. I may stick to Salmon Runs until it goes live.
I am 3/11 now.
Just today, I've had 2 'Communication errors' and 2 'Players have disconnected'.
And all 4 happened ONLY when my side was winning.
Nintendo REALLY needs to give the people who don't DC their EXP and Money.
I'm tired of someone's bad internet or attitude, or nintendo's net, stealing my points. x.x
