Just something I've thought of, and it's a good thing Nintendo's released notable titles that didn't cost more than a 3DS game. But considering this is supposed to ultimately replace BOTH console and handheld, does that mean they will price things accordingly? Like will the 8th gen Pokemon games on Switch not look like a current gen console title and also not cost 60 dollars?
I would hope so, considering Nintendo's focus on not specifically using graphics to sell games.
Now, despite the title, I think no matter what there will be cheaper retail Nintendo games. They've done that enough and games that started as downloadable are more and more released at retail in some form. But I do wonder if there will still be a separation between titles for what would've been 4DS or something and titles that would've been for Wii 3 or whatever. In terms of price mainly since even a good chunk of retail Wii U games are not exactly as expensive and expansive like Xenoblade X or as a showcase to looking amazing like Mario Kart 8.
Nintendo will have to recoup loses from development, and find what the market is willing to pay for their games. Also, to keep 3rd Parties happy, Nintendo should probably limit their cheaper quality titles so 3rd parties don't feel Nintendo is blocking their success (but they will feel like that anyway...)
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
