Oh yeah boys! This was announced today by Rebellion that they're going to release a port of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered and Sniper Elite 3 on the Switch. I love these games, and it's great that they're coming the Switch, though I'll admit I'm a PC Elitist when it comes to FPS games, I NEED mouse and keyboard for games like that. But seeing as this isn't totally an FPS game, it's actually a TPS/Stealth game, it may very well work on the Switch. I wouldn't mind trying this game out in Handheld mode.

They're confirmed to have motion controls, and while it's not quite on the level of precision mouse and keyboard offers, its night and day from straight analog, and will actually make the games SUPER playable in handheld mode (versus straight analog on a small joycon which is not the best).

I’ve been playing Sniper Elite III this morning, and it’s a really, really fun game. I had messed around and some of the other modes before but today I actually started the campaign, and it’s incredible.
I’m bewildered that nobody else is playing this right now. There’s a certain amount of satisfaction that comes from pulling off long sniper shots. The gyro when you’re holding your breath is set just right.

Jump all over that peeps. Sniper Elite III is seriously dope, has gyro aiming, competitive online, co-op online and local wireless for the entire campaign and 2 other modes including horde mode. And it’s one of the finest looking handheld games I’ve ever laid eyes on (not even kidding- this game looks gorgeous on Switch- nothing but full 720p in handheld mode too). And, it’s only 6 GB.
Need that Call of Duty itch scratched? This is a game for you. And if you need that Call of Duty Zombies Mode itch scratched, the Sniper Elite spin-off “Zombie Army Trilogy” is the game for you (or even Survival mode in Sniper Elite III). It also feels somewhat similar to Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid. So really, the game has a lot to offer (also, the kill cam is complete optional if you don’t want to see the cinematics of the bullets hitting, you can also set it to very frequent, less frequent, etc, basically tailoring how often it occurs to your liking).
It pained me so much seeing this release largely brushed under the rug at launch. It’s so good. Even the HD rumble of your heartbeat when holding your breath before a shot. This here is the pinnacle of third-party on Switch. I hope the fire sale is enough to finally convince people to give this game a shot.
