Do you want Persona 5 on Switch?

Speak up, voice your opinion.

The fun begins at question #20, say it with me, "I want Persona 5 on Switch."

I'm not begging anymore, and neither should anyone else. If Sega can't see porting Persona 5 (or any old Atlus games)to the Switch is a fantastic idea, then I don't know what to tell them. Atlus&Sega is either blind or very stupid. It's their loss.

The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

@MsJubilee

I can sympathize with that thought process, a part of me shares the malaise with Sega's various business decisions. But saying something is certainly better than saying nothing. As the saying goes, "you can only lead a horse to water."

From Sega I just want some new cheesy, self-aware, grindhouse, House of the Dead goodness in my life.

@ComradeThom

We've got the HD port of House on the Dead 1 & 2 coming to Switch later this year (or early next year?). But forget HotD, we need an updated release of Typing of the Dead. I wonder if there are any Switch controllers with a qwerty keyboard available on the market?

@MsJubilee I agree. Wasted time and effort. Bring your games where I play games or I don't buy them.
No one should be begging for a company to bring a game to a platform that has what now... a 60million units or thereabouts?
They must have their reasons for not (be it deals, cost or sheer ignorance of a large userbase or whatever else). Other companies have brought lots of games to Switch without people begging them. I'd rather support them than beg another for something they clearly can't or don't want to do.

Sweet! I had no idea. I have a soft spot for House of the Dead 3, but I'll take the first two for sure.

As for your keyboard, a quick google vomited up this finger straining monstrosity: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mcbazel-Wireless-Keyboard-Receiver-N...

"Sorry, you do not qualify to take this survey."

Why? Are only certain nationalities allowed to participate? Then why can I choose country?

Edit: Said I was from UK instead, it worked.

Third time's a charm, right Sega/Atlus??

As usual, I put strong recommendation for SMT, Persona(Q included) and Valkyria Chronicles. Too bad there wasn't an in-depth series of questions about Shinobi though.

"Ah so they really like talking about Persona. They must really love the alternative experiences we are giving them! Let's make more."

Anyway. I had to lie about my location, but now they know I only cared about Sonic when Chao Gardens were a thing, and how much I like Etrian Odyssey.

Atlus loves their surveys.

Anyway, they know people want Persona 5 on Switch, but an overwhelming number of responses for each survey help to drive home that demand isn't lessening. The Switch community is really good about using social media and other online tools to mount an overwhelming show of force to demand support from certain publishers.

You know what's even more convincing, though? Good sales data. One reason I'm going for Catherine: Full Body at launch.

Ugh. Men.

Wait again? How many times will they make fun of us ?

Persona 5 would be nice (also Id like to try 3) but I’d much rather have new Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio games or remasters.

@Grumblevolcano Not V specifically no, but SMT series was mentioned. The quiz seems to focus on general taste of the consumer base, with some of Atlus games having more indepth questions about current Atlus games such as Persona and Catherine. Platforms were not mentioned beyond "Console", "PC" and "Mobile".

Signature, huh? Where do I sign?

Eel

Yes, they only ask about currently relevant games (and a bunch of retro Sega classics).

If you mention liking Etrian Odyssey, for example, they only want to know if you've played V or Nexus.

Persona 3 was a bit of an outlier though, they consider each persona to be it's own series or something.

@Eel

When Sega refers to each individual Persona game as a series they're probably including the fighting and music/rhythm spinoffs as a part of each entry.
