Ok got the pink switch lite & love it. Both my Nintendo switch oled & switch lite have separate account's on them but when I popped in one of the cartridges it said the coins had already been renewed even though its on a different switch. You can only renew the coins on one switch even if if it's a different account? Not a big deal just thought it was odd... Is there a way to fix it & get coins on the other switch since there different account's? Just curious. Thank you anyway's for any help / advice on this~ ✌️
@Barbiegurl777 Yeah, what Eel said. Gold coins can only be redeemed for physical games within the first year of the game's release. And gold coins can only be redeemed once for a game card.
I got Crash Team Racing (new, physical) 1 year & 2-3 weeks after it released, and could not redeem the gold coins, because the 1 year period after game release had just expired. I contacted Nintendo support and learned that directly from them. That's how it is for physical games.
Yeah I figured out the expiring in a years time thing. Oh well just is what it is~ 🤷♀️🤣 I'm mostly buying physical cartridges right now anyway's~ I might do DL at some point. I think I might know a way around this though. The ones that have expired at least for physical cartridges. I assume they'll still give coins if the game is downloaded but not sure some one can correct me on this~ 🤔🤷♀️ There's more than one way how to skin a cat~ 😉🔥🤣
Downloading would require you to purchase a digital copy. You get 5% of the purchase price back if you buy digitally. Not 5% of the original msrp, but the the actual sale price if you say...bought the game while it's on discount. But I'm not sure what your motive would be to purchase a digital copy if you already have a physical copy?
To keep the physical copy sealed...perhaps?

Not exactly. I would only DL games I don't have or there expiration already expired for the physical release. That way still get the coins regardless. 😁🤣 I personally prefer physical cartridges but don't mind DL if the price is right~ 😉🤣 I put the games on the wishlist check the eshop on the wishlist list each morning & if the game goes on sale just get a eshop card lol~ 🤣
