So there's a promotion right now that gives extra reward coins for purchasing this game,
does anyone know if you get those extra coins if you use a voucher to buy the game?
@Uncle_Franklin I am not sure, but I would guess not, since the points are given to you when the vouchers are purchased instead of the games themselves.
I still recommend getting this game though, it's phenomenal.
I have a question about something in the game, however it may have spoilers so beware:
What is that cave building in Rescue Command Post? You can see it kind of in the background and I find it kind of weird I can’t get to it. You can actually get somewhat close to the water next to it, but you cannot reach it. Was wondering if there’s any answers regarding that suspicious cave. I’m pretty sure I’ve 100% the game 2-3 times and I still don’t know what this is for. If anyone knows please help!
Quick question.
Can I play Pikmin 4 indefinitely after I finished the storyline?
Play indefinitely like I played Harvest Moon which I can continue the daily activities endlessly until I get bored.
Oh, also.
As a newbie in Pikmin franchise and wanting easy gameplay, are Pikmin 1 + 2 on Switch easy enough and can be played indefinitely after post game?
Would've loved to see a snow area in Pikmin 4. I was hoping for some winter themed area as DLC, but sadly we never got any DLC content. This picture Nintendo recently put on their Japan website looks awesome, I would've really enjoyed exploring an area like this in game!
Pikmin 4 was such a lovely experience. My first Pikmin game was 3, and I kind of hated it. This one, though, I loved it so much that I did pretty much everything. Such a well-crafted game!
@Anti-Matter Pikmin 1 has a 30 Day limit & Pikmin 2 has unlimited days. So in simple terms, based on my experience, both are fairly difficult. Mostly Pikmin 1 due the 30 day limit, but Pikmin 2 let's you play at your pace. That allows you spend time/days building up your Pikimin. Plus Pikmin 1 feels rather archaic in terms of game mechanics. pikmin 2 feels more stream-lined & sorta polished.
The hard part of Pikmin 2 comes mostly from the caves that you can explore. Challenging they may be but time doesn't pass when you're underground so you can plan out or...well...goof off (if you want).
I recommend watching playthroughs so you can get a better idea. Reason why I say this is because I'm describing all of this based on my experience. Also these two are based on the Wii ports rather than the Gamecube versions. Just a detail I thought I should mention.

So, are Pikmin games not the type of open ending games like The Sims / Harvest Moon when you can continue the games forever after reached the goal?
I heard Pikmin 4 have unlimited days so I can play indefinitely after finishing the storyline.
My top 5 favorite games:
1: Pokémon Violet
2: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
3: Animal Crossing New Horizons
4: Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
5: The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The easier difficulty means that monsters won't attack you unless you attack them first and will have less health. The harder difficulty means that monster attack patterns will be more difficult, and they will probably have more health too.
