This game looks really good and im thinking on giving it a try.
anyone else getting the game? i heard the demo was really really fun..
anyway thought id make a forum about this game cuz there wasnt one already.
here is some info about the gameplay i found on a wikipedia:

"Pepper Grinder's gameplay revolves around using the titular character's versatile drilling device to traverse various obstacles, puzzles, and defeat enemies. "Grinder" functions as a multi-purpose tool which allows players to drill through terrain, revealing hidden areas and shortcuts.[2] Pepper has the ability to propel herself in the air using Grinder, creating unique aerial maneuvers. Solving puzzles, navigating terrain, and fighting various enemies requires Pepper to change Grinders drill bits to effectively take on the different challenges they are faced with.[3] The game features a combination of platforming, combat, and puzzle solving, with an emphasis on exploration and discovery. The game encourages players to experiment with Grinder's abilities in order to uncover secrets and progress through the game."

I already beat it, and I thought it was incredibly well-designed. It feels amazing to play, the levels are varied, the difficulty is challenging but fair, and it all looks and feels really polished. The one sticking point is that it's quite short. There's only four worlds, each with four levels, a secret stage, and a boss, so you'll be done with it in a few hours. However, there is a lot of side content and for $15, I was still left pretty satisfied. Definitely agree with NintendoLife's 9/10 review score.

I played the demo and thoroughly enjoyed it! I hope to pick up this game pretty soon. I normally wait for a game to go on sale before buying it on the eShop, but in this case I'm happy to pay full price. The best thing IMO is you can adjust the game's speed in the settings. This is a definite accessibility change for those with slower reflexes, or even if one wants a slightly more chill gaming experience (I fall into this category).

Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)

That Pepper Grinder demo was pretty great, forgettable music aside. Now this is how you do a proper fresh and experimental platformer, unlike Penny's Big Breakaway with it's annoying animation pausing, and constant momentum killing cumbersome head scratching platforming mechanics. What a let down. It's slick presentation, stellar visuals and cutesy art style reminiscent of the Dreamcast era couldn't save it for me personally. Nor should it for anybody really, because if the game play or controls aren't up to snuff than it obviously shatters the entire experience.

It feels as if the controls are trapped in some sort of prototype phase. Pepper Grindage' on the other hand, as far as the demo goes, gets a big fat juicy thumbs up from me.

What do you guys think about Berserk Boy? Has it lived up to the glowing reviews?

I didn't 100% like the demo because the controls felt a little off to me, but I'm thinking of revisiting it after all the hype.

First world down. And the first boss was tough if you didn't catch on right away.

I beat the game the other day and loved it for the most part. Those boss fights are pretty difficult though in a rather relaxing and easy game.
