@Matt_Barber I see! Thank you for the info. I am thinking about it now, and there probably is a chance those ports were being worked on before Tango’s closure. I think it isn’t uncommon for big companies to get companies specializing in porting games to work on bringing their titles to other consoles. Like you said, there could definitely be a chance that the possible port is being worked on, but by another studio. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case, since I checked the Wikipedia entries for a couple of other Microsoft games that went multiplatform, and one of them, the PS5 port of Sea of Thieves, was done by a different studio rather than the original developers themselves. Hopefully that is the case for Hi-Fi Rush.
I go off to work, come back, and almost 100 new posts in this thread. 😆 Even though I don't post there, it amuses me to watch the famiboards sometimes and I think they added over 1,000 posts in their equivalent thread today. 👀
I'm surprised there haven't been more content leaks. Maybe Pyoro did the couple tweets just to show everyone proof of life.
The direct is right after I get to work as usual...gotta wait all day to watch.
I've long suspected that the source is someone who works on the Directs. They might just have been a little slow in coming through with the info this time, hence the official announcement getting out first.
New Pyoro tweet seems to be hinting at a game I edited my comment to not say so you won't be spoiled
How the heck do you spoil something here again lol
@Tayrailbridge He hinted at Mario Party it seems Also said it would be light on first party titles, but I'm not sure how serious to take this since he hinted at the game in the same tweet
I think people are reading far too much into this "hint" from the bird. I mean it's possible some of the particular word choices might be interesting after the fact. But on first reading I didnt think it pointed to anything, and especially not the thing people are guessing it points to

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
It'll be interesting to see from this Direct whether Pokemon does actually get a break this year. There have been games announced in June before like Ultra Sun/Moon, Pokken DX and New Pokemon Snap but I can't remember the last time a Pokemon game was announced in the 2nd half of the year.
@Grumblevolcano I hope Pokemon has a break year, their games definitely need more development time. It seems a little unlikely at this point that we’ll get one.
