Does anything like this exist for Switch, some kind of game where you can use a sword and/or shield and physically move the controllers for the actions? A bit like fitness boxing but with swords

@frappucino I'm pretty sure legend of zelda SS will have that, as it did back on the wii sorry if this isn't much help as I need to fact check it.

Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@frappucino For the Switch, the only motion/action control games I can think of are, 1, 2 Switch, LABO, and RingFit Adventure. And Mario Odyssey only has two hat-throws tied to motion control. There may be others, but I'm not sure any rise to satisfy what you're looking for.

Zelda: Skyward Sword had motion sword slashes on Wii U, I believe, and its coming to the Switch in mid July. I don't know what other motion control actions it had, though, or if they will carry over with the Switch port.

Do we need a port of Red Steel for Switch?

yeah, its not out yet but Skyward Sword will scratch that itch. Can't think of any others with specifically motion controlled swordfighting offhand though. Might be some indie games that have it

It looks like fully motion controlled sword games are now history, I haven't seen many of them on Switch, there are only two of them and both are made by Nintendo: Zelda Skyward Sword and Nintendo Sports Chambara. NMH games doesn't have accurate sword control, we need Redsteel port for Switch or completely new fully motion controlled sword game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is still expected this year on Switch.

If there was ever a game that screamed "motion controlled swordplay" it would be KC.
