I’m tying to decide between these two games, but I don’t know which one to go with. Mario looks like a lot of fun, and will last me quite a bit longer than bayonetta 2 will, but I’d love to hear some opinions from you all.
It totally depends on your taste in games. It's like asking whether you should listen to rock or classical. They're both very good, but which one you'll like depends on your individual tastes.
Personally, I've never played a Bayonetta game, so I can't comment on that, but I enjoyed Odyssey a lot.
I haven't played both so I have a biased opinion (not interested in Bayonetta), but Odyssey is fantastic. It has a few issues but it won me over with the final part of the main game and then after that (the nostalgia bits in particular).
