I am researching for a case for my new pre-ordered Nintendo Switch. I came across this case with Compact Stand, Tempered Screen protector, Silicone grips and caps. Just want to ask if there is any better case then this one?
It's probably hard to beat the price for what you get all together. The case doesn't look bad. I bought the RDS Industries case for mine. It's about the same price but without the extras. I like having officially licensed accessories for mine though.
@tym733 I don't suppose you can really go wrong,it is what it is for a budget price,just don't expect it to be the best quality.I am always really wary about buying from sellers with hardly any reviews.This product has only 7 reviews and the first 3 of them are not verified purchases and overly positive which suggests they're fake reviews.The other reviews seem like they were left honestly though.Personally I would pay the little extra and get one of the best reviewed cases and screen protectors.The grips and caps if you want them can be bought separately for peanuts.
Then get a USB-C Power Delivery charger to use with the cable. This one is small and charges faster than the official charger, and you'll have the benefit of a detachable cable for easier portability
And the best value USB-C Power Delivery portable battery that charges as fast as the official charger (roughly 3 hrs while playing Zelda on max settings) is the newly released Aukey USB-C PD battery- it's the best value, and has enough juice for 6 full recharges (that's almost 24 straight hrs of Zelda/MK8D). There's only 2 in-stock Power Delivery batteries on the market. This is one of them, and has more juice for a lower price.
The best thumb grips I've found are the plastic ones from PDP. Tried the silicone that EVERYONE ELSE makes- even PDP has silicone- and it's so slippery it's aggravating. The plastic ones included in this pack are the only ones I've found that have good grip, and add just enough height to the Joycon analogs to feel perfect. You get two sets of two thumb grips and 2 sets of armor, but to be honest I don't like the armor and the only reason I bought this was for the thumb grips. You cannot buy them separately unfortunately so you'll have to take the hit if you want the good stuff. There's 3 colors to choose from if you search- red, blue and yellow, and each pack comes with one black set and one of the color you chose.
Thanks all for the suggestions. My girlfriend decided for me. As this case comes with every thing we need and also they have a volume discount for 4 case which makes it $20 USD each. I think it is 10% for 2, 15% for 3 and 20% for 4. As my girlfriend's best friends who is a couple is also buying their Switch, we decide to take advantage of this. 3 more verified reviews also come in for this product since the last time I checked this product, making it 10 reviews. That is also the reason I decided to give it a try. I will update everyone on the quality of the product when I get it.
I just got my new Nintendo Switch and also the case I ordered from Amazon. Installing the tempered glass on the switch was easy as I follow the instruction manual. The quality of the tempered glass is just as good when I compared it to my friends tempered glass they bought on Amazon. The silicone grip works and the caps fit good. The case is what surprised me, the compact playstand actually fits in the case with the Nintendo Switch. It is a solid product and feels good. I like the fact that I can bring 20 more games out and about on long travels. The compact playstand is functional and I have access to the charging ports on my Nintendo Switch. Overall I would highly recommend this product as I see it is a very good for value product. I have checked, if i have bought all the packaged product separately it would cost me around $40 USD. But with the 4 case purchase discount, it only cost me $20. But even at $25 USD it is still a value for money purchase. My girlfriend is also very happy with this purchase. In the end I am happy to have listened to her and bought this case bundle.
PS: I am the girlfriend, the only con about this case bundle is that it does not comes with more color choices. I wish they had red.
