Topic: Is Splatoon 2 going to be good for single player only?

I absolutely avoid online multiplayer because I really don't like it, I'm not particularly interested in local multiplayer either but I'm rather intrigued by Splatoon 2 and I'm not sure if it's going to be a good purchase for me or not. I have seen a short video of the tutorial for the single player mode in Splatoon 1 and I was rather impressed it looked like a very cool game, very fun to play. I'd like to play it but there are so many games I already want both on Switch and on Steam... I have already put on delay Everspace on Steam hoping in a sale soon, right now I have all the money I need but there are so many games in the near future that I want and that are more focused on single player I don't feel it's ok for me to invest in a full priced game that rely so much on multiplayer... What would you do in my situation?

Hard to tell yet. Single player was fun in Splatoon 1, but it was way too short. Unless single player is significantly longer in Splatoon 2, I'd say it's not worth getting it for single player only.
