Hello

I received $350 in gift cards (birthday)

And i don´t know which games i get.

1. I don´t have fun playing single player games, like Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, Mario, bayonetta, etc... i feel bored so fast. I like games for competition against CPU/Bots or people....offline/online.

2. I just have a lot of the best multiplayer games on Switch. And Splatoon 3 is OUT of my wishlist forever. Here in my country everbody is receiving a lot of disconnections. Everygame runs GREAT (Smash bros, Street Fighter...just PERFECT). But Splatoon 3 is horrible here.

3. I only buy games i´ll play 100+ hours or potencially infinite replay value (like fighting-racing-music multiplayer games). I don´t like to spend money in 10-20 hours games. I buy games I can play (multiplayer) forever! I love to get better and competitive in competitive (non- first person shooter) games!

4. I don´t like First Person Shooter games (I have motion sickness)

5. The only single player games i like are strategy, like Advance Wars. I just have Wargroove, Mario + Rabbids...and Xcom2.

I´m thinking about:

is Mario tennis Aces any good? How many hours have you played this game?

is Big Brain Academy any good? How many hours have you played this game?

is Switch Sports any good? How many hours have you played this game?

is Arms any good? How many hours have you played this game?

is Persona Arena Ultimax any good? Better than Undernight or Blazblue Central Fiction?

The only guaranteed games I will buy are:

  • Guilty Gear Collection
  • Capcom Fighting Collection
  • Radiant Silvergun

Can you recommend games for me?

Multiplayer games i have:

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + 48 new tracks
  • Smash bros Ultimate + all DLC
  • Just Dance 2021 + 6 straps + unlimited 600+ music
  • Taiko no tatsujin + 2 taiko drums
  • Warioware Get it Together
  • Boomerang Fu
  • Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
  • Binding of Isaac + all DLC
  • Shadowverse + all DLC
  • Crash Team Racing (complete)
  • Mario Party Superstars
  • Rayman Legends definitive edition
  • Windjammers 2
  • Streets of Rage 4
  • Ninja Turtles Shredder Revenge
  • Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville
  • Rocket League
  • Horizon Chase
  • Pinball FX 3 (all tables)
  • Vasara Collection
  • Skyforce Reloaded
  • Wargroove
  • Mario + Rabbids + Donkey Kong DLC
  • Clubhouse Games 51

Well, considering the fact that you have played both Shredders Revenge and Streets of Rage 4, I have a feeling that you like beat'em ups. If that's the case, then I HIGHLY advise that you check out Castle Crashers. You can play online or locally with up to four players AND it has a metric ton of characters to unlock and play as, on top of all the weapons and pets that you can find to aid in your adventures!

1. Puyo Puyo Tetris is a fun puzzle multi player game.
2. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
3. Mario 3D World is up to 4 players, I play online with friends from time to time
4. Horizon Chase Turbo is a good local multi player racing game
5. as is Crusin Blast
6. Luigi's Mansion 3 has a local and online multi player mode

Puyo Puyo Tetris i have on steam. Great Game!
Horizon Chase i have on Steam and Switch. Greaaaat game!
Super Monkey Ball unfortunatly i don´t like very much (I had this game on first xbox)
Cruis´n Blast i feel an "empty" game, unfortunatly!

Mario 3D World --> How much replay value?? 50+ hours?
Luigi's Mansion 3 --> How much replay value?? 50+ hours?

SwitchForce

Put that towards the Pokemon Switch that is coming out. That's another alternative.

It´s not more $350.

$60 will be = Advance Wars 1 + 2

So... $290, but i just spent $9,99 + $9,49 + $10,49+ $24,49 = Dragon Ball Fighterz complete (all DLC)

So....$235,54

The guaranteed games I will buy are:

Guilty Gear Collection $39,90
Capcom Fighting Collection $39,90
Radiant Silvergun $19,90
Switch Sports $39,90

So.... $95,94

I´m thinking about

  • Persona Arena Ultimax (fighting game)
  • UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r] (fighting game)
  • Melty Blood (fighting game)

I will always tell people try try Persona 5 Royal if they haven't already haha (Out OCT 21st) Fire Emblem Three Houses is a good strategy game but is story heavy. Persona Arena Ultimax is great and you could also look at Persona 5 Strikers for something more fast paced.

Sell the gift cards on ebay and then go to a casino to put it all on red!

Regarding single-player strategy games, maybe have a look at Into the Breach? It's a game about controlling robot mechs to defend corporate islands from the invading Vek (massive bug-like) creatures. It's roguelite as well, so bear that in mind.

Maybe have a look at SteamWorld Heist as well, aka '2D Xcom'. The gameplay here is more 'sidescrolling' (still turn-based) and thus not in a 3D perspective. However, instead of choosing a target to shoot (with an X% chance it hits said target), you actually have to aim your weapon and shoot manually. So whether you hit your target or not depends on how well you can aim.

Playing: Picross S+ (Switch), Balatro (Steam)
Next: Logiart Grimoire (1.0 release, Steam; I backed this on Kickstarter!)

@Shadeon_Koopa

Yes! I have Into the breach (GREAT GAME), but i´ll buy Steamworld Heis. Thank you! This game seems amazing!

@Darylb88

is Persona 5 Royal a strategy game? I´ll get Persona Arena Ultimax!

@Rykdrew Persona 5 Royal is primarily a turn based JRPG. There are slice of life sim elements and I guess you could say there is a lot of strategy in the battles on harder modes and even in how you manage your time. There many ways you can use your time so each playthrough feels bespoke.
