Topic: How do I load the island on my Nintendo switch light to my Nintendo switch

Hi what should I do I don’t know how to load my Nintendo switch light island onto my Nintendo switch without losing The game. This is on animal Crossing. Help.

@Mimirose Just download or insert the game on your account, but be carfele remember one account per switch so you need to pick the account with the animal crossing save on it.

@Mimirose If you're transferring a game from console1 to console2, the game progress deletes from console1 after the transfer is complete. That's the Nintendo's system works, it has it's restrictions. Buying a game entitles you to one copy of the game.

Were you planning on having and using two consoles? Nintendo does a system for that, but with caveats. One console is your primary console and the other is non-primary/secondary. You can only use one console at a time with this system.

And you may, or may not be aware, before October or November of 2020, Nintendo did not allow Animal Crossing New Horizons game progress transfers.

Seems to be such a faff, especially when you want to go back and forth between a Switch Lite and normal switch.
