Topic: Help setting up family group

Hi can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong.
I have just received my daughter's animal crossing nintendo switch console for her birthday and been having a few problems setting her up in a family group.I own a switch myself so already have a nintendo account and downloaded the parental control app to my phone and connected it to her new switch fine no problem. But when I go in app to add child's account to family group and put her details in they are all fine apart from childs sign in id it when i try to write something it turns to red and won't let me add her to family group.where do I get the sign in id from for for my child
Any help would be great thank you

I think you'd have to set her up individually first, @Chris83.... Does she already have a Nintendo profile? Get that done & linked to her Switch, then maybe it'll let you add her?

Thanks for your help and quick reply.I have just sorted it.I had a a go again and think the problem was when I was entering a sign in id for her in the add child section of app I was not using all lower case letters and writing her name in one with no spaces.She got her own profile now with parental controls in place so all sorted.Got animal crossing just downloading so she very happy now.Thanks again
