I am playing Fortnite and would like to use my Bluetooth headphones to use to chat with my friends online. I just want to know if someone has already tried using the Bluetooth transmitter and confirmed that the mic does work before I fork out the cash and buy one myself

I can't confirm because I haven't tried Fortnite, but if I'm not mistaken the Switch's Bluetooth protocol doesn't support audio at all. So I don't think it works.

Switch does not natively support Bluetooth headsets

Haven't tried it yet but TurtleBeach wireless headset as they told me was compatible with Fornite. And it wasn't cheap to say the least but will have to give it a try one time here but nephew is playing it too much to give me time for it. They did say just plug the USB transceiver into the Switch Docking station and that will work wireless that to me was interesting to know from them.

@asdz0722 if that works but unless you can verify you have both mice and phones working then by all means but the TurtleBeach model I know of has a mobile cable so you can plug into the headphone jack and have phone/mic usage at the same time for NSW portable if your playing FortNite.
