Does anyone know if there are any ARPGs that you can really sink your teeth into on Switch? I'm thinking something like Heroes of Ruin on 3DS?
Is there anything with an ancient/medieval setting, with possibly a hub world, or different towns to visit? As far as I'm aware diablo is a bit hellish (pun intended) and i've never seen a hub world from screenshots.
I kind of want something a bit retro where you can build your character up through combat.
There's Diablo III as well as Diablo II Remaster but I hear that's buggy as he'll. You also have Minecraft Dungeons which is a bit easy but still enjoyable.

Yeah diablo II looks good and is only £35, Darksiders 3 looks good as well. I'm defo not going to get minecraft, I know its a spin off but it just doesnt appeal to me.
Titan Quest is a very good diablo-like ARPG, but I'm unaware of its quality on Switch, do some research before buying this port (or any port on the Switch for that matter) as there could be performance issues.
Diabo III has been my go to for this, it runs flawlessly. Minecraft Dungeons crashes randomly and too often for me, but still can be fun for what its worth.
Diablo III and Torchlight II will likely be the best bets of the bunch.
@roy130390 Isn't it on mobile as well though? I feel that many games with mobile to console straight ports or vice versa are tarred with a brush that is repelling. Don't want to get into the whole issue but lack of quality control on mobile makes that ecosystem 'cheap'.
@BongoBongo123 Not that I'm aware of, at least it doesn't seem to be in the Google Playstore. The Switch port is really solid too, just to let you know. As @Tasuki mentioned Darksiders Origins is also a good option. Personally I wouldn't call it a Diablo Clone but yeah, there's some resemblance. Avoid Torchlight 3 though.
@Caperfin I really recommend it. I haven't been able to check how active the community is but it was recommended by many people when I decided to get it and my limited time with it has been really good.
@roy130390 Yh I'm sure it's a good game, I've heard a lot of positive things about it.
I think that what I want doesn't exist, since I use my 3ds more than Switch and kind of wish the system didn't die when it did. I've had loads of problems with my Switch, it has issues charging, and doesn't connect to the dock, plus the joy-cons drift like crazy. I stopped using it for ages, like 6 months, and now the amount of titles on the eshop is kind of overwhelming.
