Taking a break from Katana Kami, I fired this game up for the first time. I'm pleasantly surprised. Compared to its contemporaries in the genre (MK8, Crash Team Racing, etc) this one isn't half bad. Matter of fact it's an excellent port when compared to either Redout or Xenon Racer, although it isn't as clean as Fast RMX. This might be the best game published by Wired Productions on Switch? Although I enjoyed Victor Vran a whole lot this one isn't far behind.

@Magician I've wondered about GRIP, and nobody ever says anything about it in the forums (as far as I've seen). Thanks for sharing & starting a thread, Magician!!
I've had my eye on this since reviews said the port was pretty good. Almost got it when ot was on sale in the e-shop, but decided to hold out for a discount on the physical copy.
I've aways been slightly keen on Grip... almost pulled the trigger recently with the decent discount. How good do you think it would be as a party game... how is the local multiplayer? I've watched a fair amount of videos but was never convinced enough.
I might add... my crew is extremely pick up and play. If it's too involved they will just say... nah ... next!
I tried it, wasn't nuts about it. As Magician said, it's not as clean as Fast RMX. With Mario Kart, Fast RMX, Grid and Asphalt Legends 9 populating my SD Card, a new racer has to really shine to get to share space in there and Grip was definitely not it. If you're collecting games like Magician (553 games? Geez), I guess anything goes, but when you buy only what you enjoy, I don't see Grip winning many people over.
