Can't find the switch anywhere. Period.
Remember they told us that this wouldn't be a problem? lulz

Zelda is the best game series in history.

@TheAdrock I am trying to read your post. Honest I am, but I am so distracted...

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.

A day after the release, I was at my local mall which has a gamestop, so I stopped by there to see if I could get a case for my Switch, and they had 2 available sitting on a shelf. If there were some available a day after launch, when it was almost impossible to get one, then there is bound to be some available.

It's not how fast you can do something, it's how well you can do something fast

i went to gamestop and some large electronic store here in germany (saturn) and the switch was almost not visible. i mean normally every current console has it's own stand but switch doesn't. this might be due to launch i think and it will probably change within a few weeks.

but it seems like it's even hard to find games for switch.

i was hoping for a demo unit at saturn but they have pulled off all demo units from any console due to vandalism

Nintendo is out of stock..... as usual.

I was looking for the Zelda book for my son in Gamestop yesterday and had a talk with the store manager there and he said he is frustrated with Nintendo and their drip feeding practices with all their products.
He gets customers all day every day asking for Switch, accesoires, amiibo, books, etc and constantly has to disappoint them for not having it, as Nintendo is terrible with stock and even worse not communicating when new stock and quantity might be available again.

Here in Norway the new Zelda amiibo's are not available at all, maybe somewhere in April if we are lucky.
New stock for Switch keeps being postponed by a week. First they were to receive new stock last Friday, now it's expected this Friday (but not confirmed) and most stores here still have a backlog of unfulfilled pre-orders, so the shelves will be empty for some time to come, unless people start mass canceling their pre-orders out of frustration.

I really don't understand Nintendo, especially with the Amiibo's and accessories. It's like they don't want to make money?
Same for the NES Classic console. Gamestop still has a huge pre-order list and now has to cancel the whole list as he received a communication from Nintendo that they have stopped production of the console!
Millions of dollars in potential profit wasted.

To make matters worse, the price of the console is utterly ludicrous right now, most places are selling it for $500 and it's physically impossible to get one for under $400. I thought this was just Gamestop but no, EVERYONE is overcharging for a Switch right now. Honestly, I'd buy a Switch at the next opportunity if it weren't for that but we may we waiting until Christmas for the price to go back down to regular price.

Same here. Some stores that have a very "limited" stock are charging a lot more for their consoles (hence why I guess they still have limited stock, as people here seem to be more reluctant to feed the scalpers)

My son called 8 different stores to track down a lead for ours. I think it can still be done but it takes a lot of effort to do it. We stood in a line for over an hour in the freezing cold to get it.

Also I could be wrong but isnt it illegal to price gouge lile that?

Not here and there was a constant steady new supply of consoles coming into the stores.

I am also talking more in general about Nintendo, especially how they handle the whole amiibo franchise.
A lot of stores here in Norway have stopped selling them, as they are simply fed up with Nintendo.
It was just causing them too much grief dealing with disappointed customers and the little supply they received that it's not longer worth their time and effort.

It's Nintendo's fault for not enforcing a fixed retail price on their products. It's the same with their accessories and especially Amiibo.
some stores are selling one Amiibo for 12 bucks, while another store at the end of the street is selling it for 24 bucks.

We can say a lot about Apple in general, but at least they are on top of their game and try to squash price gauging wherever possible. Only eBay can get away with it due to a lot being sold from Asia and some shady backstreet shops.

Apple doesn't need to squash it. Their products are already overpriced

And no, it's not illegal

Price fixing is not legal everywhere, Apple get away with it and it is NOT a good thing.

If someone is willing to overpay rather than wait a couple of weeks (Amazon are getting Switch stock in two weeks) they more fool them.

Switch games list,

Legend of Zelda BotW, Human resource machine, NBA Playgrounds, Street Fighter 2, Super Bomberman R, Snipperclips, Overcooked, World of Goo.
