@BrewsterTea Would love to see FFTA on NSO - not sure if that will ever happen, but it seems like the best platform to put a GBA game on currently without requiring any development work at all. Steam/eShop/PSN store would also be appreciated, but they'll have to adapt controls at the very least if not some sort of presentation bump.
Totally agree with the world of FFXII being one of the most interesting. I love how much FFT:IC gives me similar vibes, even though it lacks the commonplace technology and fantastical races of XII. But with the same director, artist, and composer behind both games, I'm not surprised they evoke a similar feeling.
Now if only Square Enix could get Matsuno to helm another large game... Too bad they let him get away.
He was pretty involved in the Stormblood expansion for FFXIV, and it has loads of references to Ivalice in it. It's cool he was able to continue the legacy of Ivalice there a little bit, but who knows whether or not we'll ever see another new game set in the world. The branding of this remake as "Ivalice Chronicles" makes me hopeful, but we'll have to see!
I've supp'd for months on naught but broth of bean
last time i played Final fantasy Tactics both regular and War of the Lions is when i was playing both of them at the same time 3 or 4 years ago.
War of the Lions edition, i liked the addition of the new jobs Onion Squire/Knight and the Dark Knight job which was mainly a story job in the game.
i should restart War of the Lions to refresh my memory of the newer stuff like the new animated movie scenes and the addition of FF 12's Balthier. Dunno why they had to add him
